Bella Fenning works with film and photography combining both documentary and portraiture. Her work centres on the complexities and ambiguities in communication and the non-verbal transactions that occur within intimate relationships.
One of Bella’s most recent projects was screened as part of the Berlin Film Festival 2009. She has also contributed to the internationally acclaimed All Tomorrows Parties film by Luke Morris. Her latest collaboration has been with Branchage film festival, Jersey.
Amy Gwatkin’s project (The Housewife / Familiarity Breeds Contempt) explores centuries of expectation of what it means to be a wife: a new name and the potential for a new identity.
Amy’s editorial and fashion clients include Dazed & Confused, Dazed Japan, Amelia’s and The Independent on Sunday, as well as collaborations with emerging fashion designers Co-Operative designs, Scott Ramsay Kyle & Fred Butler.
Anna Leader’s series of black and white photographs appear as documents from studies in anthropology or scientific experiments. Incorporating colour shapes onto the surface, the images carry formulas that suggest ordering or an ideology whilst the subjects themselves seem off key and at times even naïve.
